Blue Steel Shrimp

Blue Steel Shrimp are striking, high‑grade Caridina shrimp with a cool blue‑grey “steel” sheen that looks incredible against dark shrimp soil and lush moss. These peaceful dwarf shrimp are ideal for dedicated shrimp tanks and experienced keepers chasing something a bit more special than standard crystal or bee shrimp.

Blue Steel Shrimp, is a stunning and highly sought-after freshwater shrimp species that originates from Asia, but has become popular among aquarium hobbyists in Australia and around the world.

As the name suggests, Blue Steel Shrimp have a striking blue-gray coloration that covers their entire body, with some individuals having slightly darker or lighter hues depending on their age and breeding. With their amazing appearance, which makes them even more captivating to watch as they move gracefully through the water.

Typically growing up to 2-2.5 cm in length.
