Albino Corydoras 3cm
Albino Corydoras (3cm) are peaceful, bottom-dwelling catfish with bright white bodies and red eyes—perfect for community aquariums and ideal for keeping the substrate clean.
Sizes may vary by 0.5cm either side of 3cm
- Tank Size: Suitable from around 60L and up
- Water Conditions: Prefer pH 6.0–7.5 and temperatures between 22–26°C
- Habitat: Soft, sandy substrate is ideal to protect their delicate barbels, with driftwood, caves, and plants providing shade and hiding spots
Albino Corydoras are omnivorous scavengers. Offer a varied diet of high-quality sinking pellets or wafers, along with frozen or live foods such as bloodworms, brine shrimp, and daphnia. While they help clean up uneaten food, they still need their own dedicated sinking foods to stay healthy and active.
These corydoras are peaceful and do best in groups of at least six, where they display natural schooling and social behaviour. They are excellent tankmates for other small, non-aggressive fish such as tetras, rasboras, livebearers, and dwarf gouramis.
- Lifespan: Often 5+ years with good care and stable water conditions
- Activity: Active bottom-dwellers, constantly searching the substrate for food
- Difficulty: Easy to care for, making them ideal for community tanks and beginner setups
