Albino Dandums 15/16cm tall
Albino Dandums (15–16cm tall) are striking, pale discus-style fish with graceful body shape and calm temperament—ideal for feature displays in larger, well-maintained aquariums.
- Tank Size: Best kept in larger aquariums from 200L and up
- Water Conditions: Prefer soft, clean water with stable parameters; aim for pH around 6.0–7.0 and temperatures between 27–30°C
- Habitat: Enjoy a spacious tank with open swimming areas, gentle filtration, and some driftwood or plants for cover and security
Albino Dandums are omnivores. Offer a varied diet of high-quality discus or tropical pellets, frozen foods (such as bloodworms, brine shrimp, and beef heart mixes), and occasional live foods. Feed small amounts 2–3 times per day to support growth, colour, and overall condition while maintaining excellent water quality.
These fish are generally peaceful but can be shy, especially when kept alone. They do well with other calm, non-aggressive tankmates that enjoy similar warm, soft water conditions. Avoid fin-nippers and very boisterous species. Keeping them in small groups can help reduce stress and encourage natural behaviour.
- Size: Approximately 15–16cm tall—ideal as a feature fish in display tanks
- Lifespan: Can live many years with stable, high-quality water and good diet
- Experience Level: Better suited to intermediate and advanced fishkeepers familiar with maintaining stable, warm, clean water
