Artemia Paste is a high‑protein, Artemia‑based rearing paste that forms a fine food film for young and delicate fish. Ideal for catfish, Corydoras and many other fry, Artemia Paste is available in multiple sizes to suit both small breeders and larger fish rooms.
Artemia Paste is an Artemia‑based fine paste developed as an optimal rearing food for almost all aquarium fish, especially juveniles and sensitive species. When placed in the tank or rearing box, the paste slowly forms a thin food film on the bottom, allowing fry and small fish to graze naturally throughout the day.
With its slightly elevated protein content, Artemia Paste supports strong growth and healthy development in young fish and demanding species.
How Artemia Paste Works
The paste is rolled into a small ball (around 5–10 mm) and placed directly into the rearing box or aquarium. As it breaks down, it creates a fine food film across the bottom surface. This makes it easy for tiny fish to feed, mimicking the way they would naturally graze on micro‑foods in the wild.
This feeding method has proven especially effective for:
- Aspidoras
- Corydoras
- Panaqolus

- Be aware that excessive feeding, despite the good tolerance and quality fats, can lead to fatty degeneration in fish
