Blue Dream Shrimp

Blue Dream Shrimp are one of the most popular colour shrimp in the hobby, loved for their rich blue tones and constant activity. As a Neocaridina variety, they’re well suited to a wide range of freshwater aquariums and are especially at home in planted tanks where they can graze naturally on biofilm and soft algae. Blue Dream Shrimp are a fun addition to shrimp-only tanks, nano aquariums, or peaceful community tanks, and they’re a great way to add colour without adding extra bioload like larger fish.

They’re also a great “clean-up crew” style shrimp — not because they replace maintenance, but because they’re always picking through the tank and helping keep things tidy. For best results, provide plenty of hiding spots (moss, plants, shrimp tubes, rock piles) and keep water conditions stable.
