Ludwigia Repens Bunch is one of the most popular live aquarium plants for adding colour with minimal fuss. This hardy stem plant grows upright and can be planted in groups to create a lush midground or background feature. Depending on your lighting and nutrients, Ludwigia repens may show anything from green leaves with red highlights to deeper red tones—making it a versatile option for a wide range of aquascapes.
Because it’s a faster grower, it’s also useful for helping absorb excess nutrients in planted tanks. Maintenance is simple: trim the tops when it gets tall, then replant the cuttings to thicken the group. It’s a great choice for beginners, but still looks excellent in high-end aquascapes when kept neatly trimmed.
